A little break from blogging and house renovations as well! Although things are still moving along pretty swiftly, and I can't wait show you all of the latest! But first, let me show you around our latest travels in East Africa. First up- Uganda! Patrick had a big Meetup for work in Jinja, and I was NOT about to let him white water raft down the Nile without me! So while he was busy at work all day, Loes and I explored Kampala and Jinja while getting into some mischief. A little work too. ;) (Just a little) We were wandering around the market in Kampala and found this great lighting store! Some really cool fixtures for not too expensive! A lot of it was imported from China. This man was THE best and friendliest and made me love Uganda. Look at this place!! There's Loes helping me pick out my bathroom lights! Then we explored the Mosque where we had to cover up our hair and wrap skirts around our pants. Some incredible architecture....
